'The Betty Hutton Show' - The Seaton Story

Published 1959

I personally hate this show with a passion, but here is a craptastic episode of the not-so-classic TV series "The Betty Hutton Show", complete with poor acting, unfunny script, contrived storyline and forgettable theme music.

The person who posted this may have not enjoyed it, but thank you for sharing! I love Joyce Jameson! She wasn't cast in such a way that would really show her talent, but still just one lovable sweet heart! :)

Subject: Typical Sit Com.
I get the impression from the comments made by the one who posted this show that he is not fond of it. I happen to agree with the poster's sentiments. However, all the damnations he has leveled at this show rightfully belong to almost every sit com ever made for television. Very few escape the condemnations alreday presented. This ranges from the mechanical monsterousity I Love Lucy to the witless brain dead banalities of Seinfeld.

Mr. Seaton is played by Tom Conway. (No, not Tim Conway.) Tom Conway is the older brother of George Sanders, which was enough of a reason for me to download this for my own collection!

Tom Conway had a tiny bit of success playing The Falcon after his brother George Sanders moved on to play The Saint in the old RKO movies.
